This is one subject that touches my heart each and everyday. Rescuing a dog is one of the greatest things that you could ever do, however it all depends on how you as a foster career or adoptee handle a new rescue. I will not lie some rescues can be extremely hard work and some are just crying out for love and companionship and these are the cases that everyone seems to yell about! This to me is why there are thousands of dogs within the UK being euthanized and left in pounds. These dogs are mostly bull breeds are the larger breeds and this breaks my heart! No one shouts about the hard case ...

Last summer i watched and followed an old school friend Sam Doyle set off to walk the entire coast line of the UK. Sam set out on this journey to raise awareness for PTSD. This is something i felt very strongly about too. Whist on his journey Sam found a lovely lurcher called Jess. Jess was a rescue! (big hit with me! rescues rock), i watched in complete amazement as the bond between Sam and Jess grew to points where this lurcher was off lead in pure moorland areas and not once leaving Sam's side! Meet my pack

 

As promised this is a whole post dedicated to my pack. Ok first of all we have Missy, missy is a pug x jack russell. Missy came to me at about the age of 9months after the family that had her were struggling to deal with her and having full time jobs. This was in early 2011 and she's still yapping her way through life! ha. Missy is currently living with my parents. My parents lost their akita late in 2017 and life was to quiet for them.
